REV UP, 14th Diliman Motorshow, February 21, 2009

The University of the Philippines Gears and Pinions (UPGPs) held REV UP, The 14th Diliman Motorshow last February 21, 2009, Saturday, at the College of Engineering, University of the Philippines.  The motorshow highlighted the grand week-long celebrations entitled “The M.E. Days 2009” on February 16-21, 2009, at UP Diliman.

The premier event of the ME Days, the Diliman Motorshow with almost over 50 participants last year, attracts various car enthusiasts all over Luzon. What used to be biennial in the ’90s has turned into an annual event due to popular demand and the publicity that comes along with it. Aside from the car show, there will also be a miniature car exhibit, RC drift competition, loudmatch (Sound Pressure League), and get-togethers for different car clubs.

The Mechanical Engineering Days is a week-long celebration that aims to bring together the UP ME faculty and staff and UP ME majors, as well as other UP students—affiliated or nonaffiliated, ME students from other universities and colleges, and people from outside the academe. The event also aims to foster healthy competition among its participants, and good work and play atmosphere among all people involved.

The University of the Philippines Gears and Pinions (UPGPs) is the leading organization in UP Diliman for Mechanical Engineering students. Established in 1955, UPGPs continues to promote excellence and competence among UP Mechanical Engineering students through organized activities and interactions.

Vios Club Philippines 4th Anniversary, July 5, 2008

Vios Club Philippines (VCP) is registered non-profit, non-stock organization of Toyota Vios car owners, users and enthusiasts. VCP has been established with the objective of fostering respect, fun, camaraderie and teamwork among its members and towards the public.

Knights Car Zone, June 26, 2008

Colegio de San Juan de Letran sponsors “Knights Car Zone” on June 26, 2008 at the Letran High School Grounds. The Carshow-pep rally-concert was held at the Letran High School grounds. The concert featured Chicosci, Stonefree Barbie Almabis, Calla Lily and Sinosikat?.

HTP Auto Quest Import Showoff 2008, May 17, 2008

Team HTP (Holy Trinity Parish) in cooperation with Auto Quest Custom Upholstery Shop held the HTP-AUTO QUEST Import Showoff 2K8, the 2nd installment of our fundraising car show. Various organizations, clubs and/ or companies were invited to roll out their souped-up fast and furious cars, modified road beauties and the latest models in the market, and showed them off last May 17, 2008 at the Village East Executive Homes Multi-purpose Hall.

This event featured show-offs, sound quality competition and techno party in the evening after the awarding ceremonies. [Read more]
